🇪🇺EU AI Act
TeloAI is proactively aligning with the EU AI Act, building a responsible governance framework. We’re committed to transparency, accountability, and user safety as regulations evolve.
What Is the EU AI Act?
The EU AI Act is a regulatory framework introduced by the European Commission to ensure that AI systems used within the EU are safe, lawful, and respectful of fundamental rights. The Act classifies AI systems into four categories based on risk: unacceptable, high, limited, and minimal. Voice and language models like TeloAI may fall under the high-risk or limited-risk categories depending on their use cases.
Key Principles We Embrace
Transparency: TeloAI ensures users are aware when they are interacting with an AI system, especially in conversational or automated interactions.
Human Oversight: We enable human intervention and override options where appropriate, particularly in sensitive applications.
Data Governance: Training and operational data are sourced and handled in compliance with data quality, bias mitigation, and GDPR-aligned standards.
Security and Robustness: The platform includes fail-safes, continuous monitoring, and testing for accuracy and resilience.
Documentation & Traceability: TeloAI maintains internal documentation to track system logic, updates, and decision-making criteria — supporting future auditing and transparency requirements.
Risk Classification & Controls
We are evaluating our offerings across different AI use cases to determine applicable risk levels under the EU AI Act. For higher-risk applications (e.g. voice-based services in regulated sectors like finance or healthcare), TeloAI is designing safeguards to meet the regulatory obligations — including:
Pre-deployment testing
Logging and traceability
User opt-in and disclosures
Model accuracy and bias monitoring
Our product, legal, and security teams are working closely to embed EU AI Act principles into TeloAI’s lifecycle and customer solutions.
