# Get a Phone Number?

This guide explains how to search, select, and purchase a phone number right from your Teloai dashboard.

### 📞 How to Buy a Phone Number <a href="#how-to-buy-a-phone-number" id="how-to-buy-a-phone-number"></a>

**Step 1 — Go to “Get New Phone Number”**

* From the left sidebar in Teloai

**Step 2 — Filter or Search**

At the top of the screen, you’ll see:

* **Country Selector:** Pick the country for which you’d like to buy a number (e.g. United States, Pakistan, etc.).
* **Search by Number:** Enter part of a number (optional) if you’re looking for a specific pattern or area code.

> **Example:**
>
> * Select **United Kingdom** from the dropdown.
>
> * Or search for “447” to find numbers beginning with that prefix.

**Step 3 — Browse Available Numbers**

You’ll see a table showing:

| **Country**      | The country of the phone number                          |
| **Phone Number** | The phone number in E.164 format (e.g. `+1220-234-8824`) |
| **SMS**          | Whether the number supports SMS (checkmark means yes)    |
| **Type**         | Usually shows “Normal” for standard numbers              |
| **Price**        | Monthly cost for the number                              |
| **Action**       | Button to buy the number                                 |

**Step 4 — Click “Buy”**

When you find a number you want:

1. Click the **Buy** button next to that number.
2. Confirm your purchase in the pop-up window.

#### Managing Your Purchased Numbers <a href="#managing-your-purchased-numbers" id="managing-your-purchased-numbers"></a>

After purchase:

* View all your numbers under **Your Phone Numbers** in the sidebar.
* Check their capabilities (SMS, voice, etc.).
* Assign them to campaigns or integrations like SMS sending.
